Kerry Sherman is a Los Angeles-based multimedia artist exploring the architecture of the subconscious. Her work re-contextualizes vintage imagery into metaphysical sanctuaries, bridging the tension between the physical and the sublime.

Kerry Sherman (formerly Kerry Krogstad) is a multimedia artist based in Los Angeles, CA. She received an Associate of Arts from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2008 and has been cultivating an independent studio practice centered on digital composition and metaphysical symbolism ever since.

Sherman is interested in the architecture of the subconscious, specifically exploring the tension between the physical body and the ethereal realm through the lens of Hermeticism and Astrology. She is influenced by the Dadaist tradition of the "found object," translating it into the digital space through vintage found imagery—and the sublime scale of classical surrealism. This approach allows her to recontextualize historical fragments into new, sacred containers that offer a sense of energetic sanctuary.

Sherman's work has been exhibited at Art Hearts Fashion in Los Angeles and New York City, was featured in group shows at the Rose Room in Venice Beach, and had her first solo art show at New Profanity in Los Angeles in 2018. She has been featured in Bust Magazine, Create! Magazine, Just Luxe, and Art of the Times.

In addition to her fine art practice, she is the creator of The Meta Muse Tarot (2022) and is currently developing a secondary deck. Her current focus is on elevating digital collage into the fine art sphere through high-fidelity prints and exclusive gallery representation.
